Last month I saw a Facebook ad from Book Outlet announcing a sale – get 15% off your order and free shipping on orders of $35 or more. The ad […]

While waiting for a friend at Barnes and Noble, I decided to browse the science fiction aisles. Even though I was here a few days earlier, I found myself at the Star Trek “shelf”. Yes, I’m still a little disappointed there was only one shelf designated for all Star Trek books. After looking at the few books displayed, I rounded the corner to the next aisle. It is so much fun to shop for new books. I think that’s the only shopping I really enjoy…I’m not much for clothing or shoes, but put me in a bookstore and I can browse the aisles for hours! Although I prefer to look for books at a physical store where I can hold and feel the book (yes, sometimes the feel of a book has a say in me buying it), I’m not opposed to online shopping. One of my favorite places to shop online is BookOutlet.com because they have such reasonable prices.
After waiting over a year, I was surprised to receive an email from Paperback Swap declaring “Your Wish Has Been Granted”. It’s a most wonderful feeling when you know a book you have been wanting is about to arrive at your door.
Every year my local library puts together a book sale to raise money for the library. I watch the calendar waiting for the month of April to arrive, knowing when it does I will begin my countdown to the day of the sale. When the date was announced this year, I was extra excited since I heard there were going to be a lot of children’s books at this year’s sale.
