Okay, where has the month gone? June is almost over and I haven’t posted one blog post! So, before the month is completely over, I want to share with you my PageHabit box for June.
PageHabit is one of my favorite book subscription boxes because I love that they give a donation to countries where there is a high illiteracy rate. Their donation helps encourage reading in the countries they donate to and I think that’s a very worthy cause. Plus, it makes me feel better to know that I am helping, even if it’s just a little, by purchasing a box from PageHabit.
The second reason I love PageHabit is the generosity of their referral program. If someone signs up using my referral link, they save $10 off their first box! I also save $10 off my box and that makes a big difference financially since $10 is a lot of money to me. I don’t think I could consistently purchase this box if it wasn’t for those who have clicked on my referral link and helped me save some money.
Anyway, as you can tell, I really like PageHabit and this month was even better because my box was $10 cheaper due to someone using my referral link. So whoever signed up using my link, thank you SO much! I hope you enjoyed your first box and I’d love to know what you thought of it, so please leave me a comment below.
For the month of June I chose the HORROR box. After reading their short summary about the book, June’s pick is part home invasion nightmare, part end-of-the-world thriller, I thought it sounded the most interesting of all the genres. I also Googled it and found out what the book would probably be and since it wasn’t a supernatural horror story, I thought I would take the chance.
Inside there were 4 items in addition to the book. The first item was a bookmark. PageHabit always includes a bookmark in every box and although I really don’t use bookmarks, I like receiving them. They are always so pretty and I like the book quote each one contains.
In every box you also get a short story. As of this box, I have never read any of the short stories they’ve included. I’m not sure why, but I’m not a big fan of short stories so getting these little booklets aren’t really a perk for me. I normally put them in my desk drawer and forget about them.
The other two goodie items differ from month to month and this month and are usually book related. This month I received a book sticker sheet, which is adorable, and a book holder thing-a-ma-gig.
As for the book – my Googling steered me in the right direction and I correctly guessed the book in this month’s box. The Cabin at the End of the World sounds so good and I can’t wait to read this book. I think I’ll add it to my October TBR since it sounds like a great Halloween read.
And that’s the June Horror PageHabit box!
What do you think of the items and book?
